Mesquite Youth Services (MYS) has chosen
Humankind to help brand and grow their non-profit organization. While the initial scope
of the project was to be a simple online presence, it rapidly expanded
to include multiple high functional sites plus identity creation,” said
Justin Anderson of Humankind.
MYS has served this Dallas suburb for
many years, serving local youth by providing job assistance, activities
and events, scholarship information, and youth mentoring. It
has been an important part of the local community for many years,
and is in the midst of expanding its services.
“We are proud to be a part of this admirable non-profit’s
growth phase. It is exciting to build an identity for an organization,
and it’ll be great to help MYS to communicate in the digital
manner that the teens are accustomed to,” said Justin.
Humankind will perform the initial design
and build out of the sites, which are set to launch
in the Fall of 2005. It’ll
then transition over maintenance to MYS, which plans on using local high
school students for updates. It is a win-win project for all involved.
